ALL ABOUT JAN!
While I have never really settled into any particular career, I have lived a consistent theme of being of service to others from hotel hospitality to music club/artist management to massage therapy and massage educator. Being a travel concierge has allowed me to add another personal interest to the list of careers.
My experience working in hotels gave me a unique perspective on the needs of both vacation and business travelers. Working with artists allowed me to manage complexities of their air, ground and performance schedules. And being a massage therapist has granted me the opportunity to gain patience and compassion for everyone’s circumstances.
I have familial bonds to Hawaii and travel there often. Our favorite island to visit is the Big Island and absolutely love the Kona area and Volcanoes National Park. I love all things Disney and Las Vegas. My husband and I have been Disneyland annual pass holders for 15 years and have probably tried every food delight they offer.
Our favorite time to go to Disneyland is around Halloween with all the festivities and decor. We also recently visited Disney World and have a renewed excitement about the Florida parks. We visit Las Vegas 5-6 times a year and are well-versed in the hotel, show and restaurant offerings. There’s so much to do and see!
I come alive planning special events whether it’s my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary weekend, my husband’s 50th birthday party weekend or our Thanksgiving nuptials. As your Chief Occasion Officer (COO), I look forward to helping you with your travel and special events!
